The Scripps College Internship Grant Program provides financial support for students to pursue summer internships. CP&R is excited to announce a second chance round of funding for Internship Grants in Summer 2018 for students conducting internships that have a connection to fine art, performing art or graphic design. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until May 10 at 11:59pm or until fundng has been allocated, whichever comes first.Examples of internships that would be eligible for this funding include internships at arts organizations (such as museums, galleries, or music/dance centers) or internships whose primary intern function is connected to art (such as photography, music, graphic design). If you have questions if your internship is eligible, email Valinda Lee at vlee@scrippscollege.edu.Students residing at home will be eligible for a $2,000 internship grant. Those who will pursue internships away from home are eligible for a $2,000 grant and may apply for supplemental funding (up to $4,000) to cover their internship-related expenses. Students applying for the second chance grant must have an internship secured that meets eligibility requirements in the field of fine art or graphic design and may not have accepted more than one Internship Grant in the past.
